I just wanted to pass on my appreciation for the excellent service your company have provided. Everything was really smooth and thank you for your flexibility with price and with the last minute changes to requirements!  Please do pass on my thanks to the team as well. If you should need a reference, please don’t hesitate to ask. Many thanks once again. IF we get kicked out of here in 18 months, we know who to call!

Memories from the family album

Memories 1

Front page news! The September issue of the Journal of the British Association of Removers.

Being able to keep in touch with every one of our vehicle teams was a novelty in the early years of mobile phones.

When we relocated 1000 staff to new offices for WS Atkins, they praised the ‘exceptional quality of the team’. 27 years on and they are still a valued client.

Olympia and York were the developers of Canary Wharf and the first company we moved into the landmark building.

Domestic moves have always been an important part of our business. This side loading van had just been added to the fleet when the shot was taken.

The National Physical Laboratory in Teddington is where the first large scale computer was built and the atomic clock developed. We won the contract to relocate 396 individual labs and thousands of items of equipment beating eleven other specialist move companies.

Burton & Smith takes delivery of two custom built 17 tonne trucks, increasing the fleet to sixteen at that time.

Two of the latest Mercedes additions to our fleet, pictured early on a Sunday morning on their way to another out-of-hours office move in the City of London.

Two more Mercedes trucks, fitted with larger than normal body shells, help make the fleet even more effective.
